The Shades were well known amongst the nobles of Bronzegate, that had all changed now. Everyone was still in mourning for their lost loved ones but at least they had managed to save their family, Catherine remembered the great fires that had destroyed everything. Marie wanted to be surrounded by family and grandchildren. Martin always had his nose in a book and longed to learn everything, which sometimes meant that his family were pushed to the side lines
Martin longed for as much knowledge as possible but still loved his family, it wasn't his fault that he got distracted. He'd signed up for the Science career and sometimes got very carried away

Marie wanted the best for Catherine. She hoped that one day she would marry into the royal family. She also longed for Catherine's hair to grow longer so she would be more grown up and more attractive

The house was wonderful and Catherine adored her room
