Year 1 Week 2: The Nobles: Serling

Welcome back to Wendwater. This is the Serling family

The morning dawned with very good news for the Serling family. Charles wanted his heir and Mary didn't care what they had. If it was an heir excellent, if not then she maybe able to marry the prince

The Serling family still hadn't come across the right serving girl so Mary was making all the meals but Charles insisted on cleaning

Mary's pregnancy was moving along swimmingly

However she did get very tired and had started taking afternoon naps

The king came over frequently for a bit of company and a spot of chess.
"I'm worried about Mary's labor. We don't have a serving girl yet and I have no clue how to help deliver a baby" Charles expressed his worries to the king
"I'll send Michelle over when its time" the King replied
"Thank you, your higness" Charles exclaimed
"Think nothing of it. Anything to help" the King smiled slightly. They men went back to their game of chess both feeling happier

When Mary went into labor the King kept to his word and Michelle helped Mary deliver a beautiful little girl

They named her Harritte

All too soon it was time for Haritte's birthday

She was the cutest thing according to both Mary and Charles. Mary was a little worried about her hair not being that long but Charles assured her it would grow

Charles set to work teaching his daughter the basic skills. Mary watched on

It was soon discovered that Mary was expecting again. Both Mary and Charles were hoping for a boy
